Rebecca J. Kennedy, MD


Dr. Kennedy graduated from Northwestern University's Honor program in Medical Education, where she earned her B.S. and M.D. degrees. She completed her general surgery requirements at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York and at University of Illinois in Chicago. Her otolaryngology training was through Northwestern University, with rotations at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Children's Hospital, Illinois Masonic Hospital, Lakeside VA, and Cook County Hospital. She graduated from Northwestern University in 1990.

Dr. Kennedy was an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Loyola University Medical Center before relocating with her family to Tucson, Arizona. There she practiced Otolaryngology at the University of Arizona as well as in private practice.

Dr. Kennedy and her family returned to the Chicago area in 1995. She has practiced general Otolaryngology part-time in Libertyville since then. Dr. Kennedy is Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology. She enjoys helping treat all ear, nose and throat problems in children, as well as adults. She has office hours in our Libertyville, Skokie and Glenbrook offices.
